Site Navigator I based in Germany or Austria

About the role

Join Fortrea’s mission to transform clinical trials and improve patient outcomes as a Study Start Up Site Navigator I supporting site activation activities and collaboration between study teams and clinical sites in Germany or Austria.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial site outreach tasks such as sending feasibility surveys and supporting the collection of Confidentiality Agreements.
• Support preparation for Remote Pre-Study Visits (PSVs) and prepare follow-up documentation like trip reports and required materials.
• Coordinate basic administrative tasks related to contract and budget processes under guidance.
• Provide support for regulatory submissions and ethics committee documentation.
• Act as a point of contact for routine queries, track site readiness and escalate blockers to senior team members, maintain accurate records and assist with reporting start-up metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong interest in clinical research, willingness to learn, and previous experience with study start-up and/or budgets and contracts in clinical research.
• Basic understanding of ICH-GCP principles.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).

Preferred qualifications

• Internship or exposure to clinical research or a healthcare environment (preferred).
• Familiarity with MS Office tools; knowledge of eTMF or CTMS is a plus.
